	TC Flangecoat is a thixotropic material designed to protect flange faces and bolts from atmospheric corrosion. This field-proven Tapecoat product may be applied to new or worn flange surfaces and is ideal for use in natural gas regulator stations and oil transmission pipeline terminals. TC Flangecoat is an environmentally-safe, 100% solids material with no harmful solvents that cause drying, cracking or shrinking over time. This innovative product can be easily applied under most field conditions and allows for easy re-entry for flange maintenance. Technical Information Standards: ANSI/AWWA C-217 Color: Gray Specific Gravity: 1.3 Solids content: 100% Application Temperature: Above 20°F Operating Temperature: -40 to 180°F Shelf Life: Rotate stock yearly. Application Trim the cartridge tip for desired bead and puncture seal. Apply TC Flangetape around edges of flange. Punch insert/exit holes between all flange bolts. Insert cartridge tip through hole and pump TC Flangecoat until coating flows over bolts on both sides. Repeat procedure until the space between the flanges is filled. Remove TC Flangetape and smooth out TC Flangecoat. Cover the flange edges with Tapecoat H35 Gray or TC Envirotape if the entire flange area is to be coated. Packaging Available in 12 ounce cartridges packed 12 per carton, 29 ounce cartridges packed 6 per carton with TC Flangetape, and in 5 gallon pails.
